The Gas Safety Register is the UK\u2019s gas safety national watchdog. It\u2019s best to hire a Gas Safe registered engineer if you need any gas work doing in your home.<\/p>\n
Carbon monoxide is a gas that\u2019s produced from the partial combustion of gases like your boiler fuel. It\u2019s colourless and odourless and can be fatal if inhaled in large quantities.<\/p>\n
To protect yourself against carbon monoxide exposure you should install a carbon monoxide detector. You should also get all gas appliances, including your boiler, installed and serviced regularly by a Gas Safe registered engineer.<\/p>\n
Your energy supplier is the company that supplies electricity or fuels like gas, oil or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) to your home.<\/p>\n
