Can I stay at home while my gas boiler is being replaced?
When your boiler is being replaced you won’t have hot water or central heating. However you will need to be in the home to let the boiler engineer in. Most people would elect to stay in their home while it is replace. For most people a boiler will be replaced within the day, if you are having new radiators installed then it may take longer.
If you are considering replacing your gas boiler it is always worth considering what would be the most cost effective new boiler, this way you will reduce your monthly gas bill.
If you don’t mind this you can stay in your home, and use portable electric heaters if needed.
