LeadsDoWork is an introduction and lead generation service. We help connect homeowners with independent contractors who may be interested in providing quotes for home improvement work.
By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that LeadsDoWork is not a builder, installer, contractor, broker, or agent for either the homeowner or the contractor. We do not carry out, supervise, manage, warrant or guarantee any work, goods or services provided by any third-party contractor introduced through our platform.
Any agreement for works, goods or services is made directly between you and the contractor you choose. LeadsDoWork is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the pricing agreed, the quality of workmanship, the timing of the works, any guarantees or warranties offered, or any act or omission of the contractor.
Information shown on our platform or provided to us about contractors may include business details, service areas, qualifications, memberships, accreditations, insurance information, availability, reviews and similar profile information. This information may be supplied by contractors or third parties. While we aim to keep information reasonably up to date, we do not guarantee that any contractor profile, statement, accreditation, insurance position, availability or review information is accurate, complete or current at all times.
You should always carry out your own checks before instructing any contractor. In particular, we recommend that you confirm directly with the contractor their identity, qualifications, experience, trade association membership, insurance cover, guarantees, and the terms on which they will carry out the work.
Nothing on our website or in our service should be taken as a recommendation, endorsement, certification or guarantee of any contractor’s suitability, competence, creditworthiness or workmanship. Any decision to appoint a contractor is entirely your own.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeadsDoWork excludes liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim or expense arising out of or in connection with the appointment of any contractor introduced through our service, any work, goods or services supplied by that contractor, any pricing, quotation, delay, defect, omission, misrepresentation or breach by that contractor, or any dispute between you and that contractor.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Q: What's in it for LeadsDoWork? - Where do you make your money?

You should verify any important details directly with the contractor before proceeding.
Q: What happens if I don't get a suitable trade professional?
A: Availability varies by trade and location. In some cases we may not be able to match your request immediately with a suitable contractor. Providing clear and accurate project information will improve the chances of receiving relevant quotes.
Q: I'm not sure about giving out my contact details to lots of builders. Won't I be pestered with calls?
A: We aim to share your enquiry only with a limited number of relevant contractors, rather than distributing it widely. Those contractors may contact you by phone, email or SMS in relation to your request.
Q: Once trade professionals are registered are they lifetime members?
A: Contractor participation on the platform may change over time. We may add, remove or stop working with contractors at our discretion, but this should not be taken as a guarantee of any contractor’s quality, suitability or ongoing availability.
Q: What happens if a trade professional does a bad job?
A: Any contract for the work is between you and the contractor you appoint. LeadsDoWork is not responsible for the contractor’s work, goods, services, delays, pricing or conduct. If we hold details of any trade association or accreditation claimed by the contractor, we may choose to pass those details on to you, but we are not responsible for resolving disputes between you and the contractor.
Q: Should I pay upfront?
A: We recommend that you take care before making any advance payment. You should satisfy yourself as to the contractor’s credentials, written quotation, payment terms and proposed timetable before agreeing to any works. Any payment arrangements are strictly between you and the contractor.
Q: Can you supply a list of trade professionals, so I can choose one myself?
A: Our service is designed to match your enquiry with contractors who may be relevant to the type of work and area involved. We do not guarantee that any particular contractor will be available or willing to quote.
Q: Why not pick a contractor from the phone book?
A: Our service is intended to save you time by helping you connect with independent contractors who may be interested in quoting for your project. However, the final choice of contractor is always yours, and you should carry out your own checks before appointing anyone.
Q: How does LeadsDoWork protect customer information?
A: When you submit your project information, we process your personal data in line with our privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
