It’s almost here… traditionally reported as the busiest DIY weekend of the year… Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

A couple of years ago Kensington Financial Management Consultants revealed that a significant number of people will suffer a DIY disaster. They stated that with 38 per cent of people set to use the long weekend to do home improvements, a tenth of such projects will go wrong at a total cost of £1.5 billion to put right.
They found that the most common home improvement mishaps are drilling through pipes, spilling paint and broken glass. The firm urges people to check their tools are in good order before starting work and to only attempt jobs within their limits. We’d urge you to only do small DIY jobs and for the larger ones get some FREE quotes for the work.
