Wigton
Wigton is a market town in Cumbria, England. Historically in Cumberland, it exists just outside the Lake District in the district of Allerdale. Wigton is at the centre of the Solway Level, between the Caldbeck Fells and the Solway shore. It is offered by Wigton train station on the Cumbrian Coast Line, and also the A596 roadway to Workington. The community of Silloth-on-Solway lies twelve miles to the west, beyond Abbeytown.
