While some people may see bifold doors as insecure, many bifold doors feature advanced security measures. Internally beaded strengthened double glazing is very secure. Choose a bifold door with a multi-point locking system for enhanced security. If your house is empty for long periods, always consider a blind solution to keep prying eyes out of your home.
Selkirk
Selkirk is a community and also historical royal burgh in the Scottish Borders Council area of southeastern Scotland. It rests on the Ettrick Water, a tributary of the River Tweed. The people of the town are known as Souters, which suggests cobblers (footwear makers and healers). At the time of the 2011 census, Selkirk's population was 5,784. Selkirk was previously the county town of Selkirkshire. Selkirk is one of the oldest Royal Burghs in Scotland as well as is the site of the earliest settlements in what is now the Scottish Borders. The community's name indicates "church by the hall" from the Old English sele ("hall" or "estate") and cirice ("church").
