Corwen
Corwen is a community, neighborhood as well as electoral ward in the region of Denbighshire in Wales; it was formerly part of the area of Merioneth. Corwen stands on the financial institutions of the River Dee underneath the Berwyn hills. The town is situated 10 miles (16 kilometres) west of Llangollen as well as 13 miles (21 kilometres) south of Ruthin. At the 2001 Census, Corwen had a population of 2,398, lowering to 2,325 at the 2011 census. The neighborhood includes the towns of Carrog and Glyndyfrdwy. The built-up area according to Nomis was 477 but does not include the estate of Clawdd Poncen. Including Clawdd Poncen the overall is 777. Located in capitals of north Wales, the major economy of Corwen is based in and around farming. The community's major employer is local trailer maker Ifor Williams Trailers, begun by a farmer wanting to transfer sheep to the regional market.
