Penarth is a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It is located 5.2 miles south west from the city centre of the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and it is on the north bank of the Severn Estuary at the southern end of Cardiff Bay. With a population of 22083, it is the 2nd largest town in the Vale of Glamorgan, coming second to the administrative centre of Barry, and Penarth is the seaside resort with the most wealth in the Cardiff Urban Area.
