Llanfyrnach is a town, area as well as parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village is in the selecting ward of Crymych. The village of Crymych and also the districts of Hermon, Glandwr and the eastern part of Pentre Galar remain in Llanfyrnach parish. Llanfyrnach indicates the church of St Brynach. Llanfyrnach town is in a remote upland location on the headwaters of the River Tâf, concerning 11 miles (18 kilometres) from Cardigan. The town stays small, with much of the workforce employed in transportation. The population of the parish was 542 (1801 ), 933 (1851 ), 954 (1901 ), 844 (1951) and also 837 (1981 ).
