Many types of loft are suitable for a loft conversion. In general, you will need at least 2.3 metres of headroom in your existing loft. This is to make sure there is enough headroom after the conversion. Speak to a conversion specialist about the probability and possibility of doing this in your house.
Wingate
Wingate is a town in County Durham, England. Wingate is a previous pit town with a combination of 19th-century, post-war, and extra recent housing developments. It was initially populated by around 30 farmers before 1839 when coal was discovered. It lies in the East of County Durham, three miles south west of Peterlee, and also seven miles north west of Hartlepool. As with a lot of villages in the location, it grew rapidly with the development of coal-mining in the area. The name Wingate is stated to derive from the Anglo-Saxon words windig (windy) and geat (roadway) meaning windy road. Like all County Durham towns, locals are understood to speak the pitmatic dialect although brand-new housing developments has seen a sharp boost in the village's population. An electoral ward in the exact same name exists. This ward stretches north eastern to Peterlee and has a total population, taken at the 2011 census, of 10,302.
