Haverhill

Haverhill is a market town and civil parish in the county of Suffolk. It is set on the borders of Essex and Cambridgeshire, being found 14 miles south-east of Cambridgeshire and 47 miles north-east of central London. The town centre is located at the base of a dip in the chalk hills of the Newmarket Ridge, and the Stour Brook, which eventually joins the River Stour away from the town, passes through Haverhill. It is the 2nd biggest town in the Borough of St. Edmundsbury, with a population of 27041.
