Batterham Matthews Architects work throughout the South West and have established a diverse portfolio spanning many sectors, including residential, education, health, community and arts ; our commissions are similarly diverse , with projects comprising listed building work, contemporary new-build structures, oak framed 'eco' homes, sports centres, arts spaces, community halls or entire school campus masterplans – and, of course, extensions and enhancements to existing buildings.
Consistent in all our work, is the belief that daylight is the star of the show and we are advocates of working with nature; we encourage what we term the 'inside outside' approach, where landscaping is an essential component of the finished project and the outside space is seen as an integral part of the overall design.
