Pre work:I thought I had to confirm my details before anything happened. I was only looking for quotes for my old Mum and didn't confirm my details via the email because it wasn't clear until then that a site visit would be made. I didn't want people turning up when she was on her own, but obviously they managed to find her address due to her unusual surname. Everything turned out OK in the end but was not the way I would have wanted it done. She had no clue how much it was going to cost and could have been pressurised into anything.
