Double glazing is made up of two layers of glass, with a layer of argon gas in between. This type of glass can be used in Aluminium windows. The gas is a poor insulator, helping heat to stay in your home and making your windows more efficient. As well as trapping the argon gas, the second layer of glass reduces the amount of noise that enters your property, and helps to make your windows stronger and more secure.

The island is named for Saint Finbarr of Cork. In 2011, the population was 1,174. Gaelic is commonly spoken, and also at the 2011 Census, there were 761 Gaelic speakers (62% of the population). The Isle of Barra is approximately 60 km2 (23 sq mi) in area, 11 miles (18 km) long and 6 miles (10 km) wide. A single-track road, the A888, runs around the shore of the southerly part of the island adhering to the flattest land and also offering the many coastal negotiations. The interior of the island right here is uneven and unoccupied. The west as well as north of the island has white sandy beaches including sand developed from marine shells adjoining the grassed machair, while the south east side has countless rough inlets. To the north a sandy pensinsula runs to the beach airport terminal as well as Eoligarry.
