Aberdaron

Aberdaron is a community at the western tip of the Llyn Peninsula in Wales. It is about 36 miles south west of Caernarfon and it has a population of 965.

The village was the last rest stop for pilgrims on their way to Bardsey Island, which is the mythical island of 20,000 saints. An old fishing village, the community became a shipbuilding centre and port in the 18th and 19th centuries.
