Knutsford
Knutsford, situateded in the county of Cheshire, resides in Northern England simply 14 miles southwest of Manchester. The town, which boasts a population of around 13,500, sits among many historical spots such as Tatton Park, Peover Hall and Arley Hall, each of which are popular traveler attractions. Because of its position in the U.K., geographically Knutsford is the home of dynamic landscapes, located near to Cheshire's Golden Triangle, and on the land in between the Peak District and the westerly Welsh mountains. The town's name derives back to the times of William the Conqueror's, who dubbed the hamlet as 'Canute's Ford', in 1086, which eventually developed to exactly what it is today. Knutsford is a well-connected settlement, making domestic homes highly in demand. Along with a regional rail station, road access features junctions to the M6 and M56. Alongside this, the A50 runs right through the centre of the town, linking the traders to the outside world making Knutsford a town open for business and not a closed, remote area. For those aiming to go further afar, Manchester Airport is a short 5 miles drive away from Knutsford itself. Social perks of the town are showcased by their Badminton, Hockey, Cricket, Rugby and Football clubs, all open to the general public, aside from the local leisure centre with its holiday and after school sports clubs throughout the year. The 2 centuries old settlement is nothing at all without its tradition; The RHS Flower Show housed at Tatton park every year is an example this, with the Royal May Day being a token of the rich culture and community of Knutsford.
