Buckley
The town of Buckley is in Flintshire, within north-east Wales. Positioned on a dual carriageway, it is two miles from the county town of Mold and next to the villages of Ewloe, Alltami and Mynydd Isa. Resulting from its location in the shadow of the Snowdonian mountain range , it's situated within a rain shadow location. As a result of this, the average annual rainfall in Buckley is approximately 700 to 800 millimetres, which is significantly less than the typical rainfall in the whole of Wales. As per the 2011 Census, the town had a permanent resident population of approximately 15,665. By population, Buckley is the 2nd most populous town in Flintshire. A fair number of the population work in the many light industries primarily based in the town. However, those who do not work locally often commute to Deeside, Cheshire, Wrexham and Merseyside. The Hanson Cement Works is the only heavy industry that continues to exist within the town. The 200 foot kiln dominates the skyline, can be seen from a number of miles away. Despite the fact that many of the local population consider the kiln to be an eyesore, the business reputes to have lowered the pollution made by the cement works by at least 90 per cent. The significant locations of common land in Buckley are primarily enjoyed as recreational land. It has a substantial playground for young children, in addition to a duck pond attracting a lot of wildlife. A funfair also visits throughout the Buckley Jubilee in the summer time, held on the 2nd Tuesday of July to coincide with the town's jubilee celebrations. For all of your home improvements, be certain that you use reputable specialists in Buckley to make sure that you get a great quality service .
