Bakewell is a little market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales area of Derbyshire, England, understood for a regional confection, Bakewell pudding. It pushes the River Wye, regarding 13 miles (21 km) south-west of Sheffield. In the 2011 census the civil parish of Bakewell had a population of 3,949.
