Ponding is where you see pools of water appearing on your flat roof. Unless your roof is leaking or showing other signs of damage, you don’t need to replace it. When you do have your flat roof replaced, tell the contractor so they can find out the cause of the ponding.
Garve
Garve is a village on the Black Water river, in Ross-shire, and is in the Highland Council area of Scotland. It is positioned 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Contin, on the A835, the highway to Ullapool on the west coast, close to where the A832 branches off towards Achnasheen. The village is offered by the Garve train station, on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line, which goes across the A835 road on a degree crossing. In 1890 Garve was proposed as the starting-point of a railway to Ullapool. The town has a primary school as well as resort but no store. The village is within the Garve as well as District Community Council area. Garve and also District are offered by the Garve and District Development Company, a company created by the community during 2017.
