Burnham-on-crouch
Burnham-on-Crouch is a community as well as civil parish in the Maldon District of Essex in the East of England. It rests on the north financial institution of the River Crouch. It is one of Britain's leading areas for yachting. The civil parish prolongs 5 miles (8 kilometres) east of the community to the mouth of the River Crouch. It consists of the districts of Creeksea and also Ostend west of the town, Stoneyhills to the north and also Dammer Wick, West Wick as well as East Wick eastern of the community. Although the community has a population of little over 7,500, it is the major settlement in the broader Dengie peninsula location (population 20,000), suggesting it has facilities that are uncommon in villages, such as a cinema, a laundrette, a post office, 22 licensed drinking establishments and also three pharmacies.
