Shackleford includes the regions of Eashing, Hurtmore, Norney as well as Gatwick. Nestled among fir and also beech ranches is a small area containing 15 homes named Gatwick (not to be puzzled with the former district in Reigate and Banstead, or the airport terminal of the same name), parts of which forget part of the stretch of placid, acid health to the northwest, the Surrey Wildlife Trust managed Puttenham & Crooksbury Commons.
