Longfield
Longfield is a village as well as civil church in the Borough of Dartford in Kent, England. It lies 6 miles (10 km) south-east of Dartford and also the very same range south-west of Gravesend. The town has a number of stores, a pub, as well as a 14th-century church. It is recorded in the Domesday Book and the Anglo-Saxon charters of 964-995. Longfield and New Barn is a civil parish named after the adjacent towns it covers, the eastern component being New Barn, it also covers the smaller settlement, the area of Longfield Hill. Longfield is the old town, situated when traveling in between Dartford and also Meopham; the historic church there is committed to St Mary Magdalene. New Barn is bigger in population than Longfield, although has little bit in the means of services, being a fairly recent development and purely property in nature.
