Peterculter
Peterculter is a suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, about 8 miles inland from Aberdeen city centre. Peterculter gets on the north banks of the River Dee, near the confluences with Crynoch Burn as well as Leuchar Burn. Following the 1996 Scottish council limit alters it became part of the City of Aberdeen's Lower Deeside ward. The latter part of the name is stated to come from the Gaelic substance word "Cul-tir", which indicates the "back part" of the country.
