Embsay
Embsay is a town in the Craven area of North Yorkshire, England, and also together with the adjoining town of Eastby, develop the civil church of Embsay with Eastby, which had a population of 1,758 in 2001. Embsay is about 2 miles (3 kilometres) northeast of Skipton. At the foot of Embsay Crag, a rock formation north of the village, is Embsay Reservoir. The crag notes the beginning of Barden Moor, an expanse of open moorland which is open access land as well as used by pedestrians. There are 2 even more storage tanks on the moor: Upper Barden Reservoir and Lower Barden Reservoir. Embsay storage tank is the head office of Craven Sailing Club.
