Aerial and satellite work is necessary for both household in addition to commercial properties, so no matter the size or type of your building, your needs could be catered for. An aerial is installed on the exterior wall of your house, usually in a place where it'll be given optimal signal. It's usually suggested to replace old receivers if you'd like to improve reception.
Local Quotes can help you with every step in having your satellite or aerial upgraded, replaced or fixed. By completing our quick online form we are able to be sure of matching you with as many as 4 trustworthy companies close to you.
You can then be given free quotations for the work you'll need, pick the best company and enjoy a much better signal for your own home or business. The fitting itself will take little more than an hour and so it's a fast turnaround.
Aerial and satellite installation costs can differ depending on the type of aerial or satellite dish you want, how easy it is to access your roof or loft, and where you live.
If you're simply buying and setting up an indoor aerial, this won't cost you more than about £10 a little more if you need additional cables. But if you're going to install an outdoor aerial, the common cost is about £180. This is because they're trickier to set up, so lots of people hire professionals to help them.

Maesteg is a town and community in the ceremonial county of Mid Gamorgan and in Bridgend County Borough, Wales. It lies at the north end of the Llynfi Valley, close to the border with Neath Port Talbot. Similar to the rest of Wales, the English and Welsh languages comprise the town's official languages. Even though a considerable proportion of occupants are natural English speakers, there is a modest section of the community that speak Welsh. Of the 20612 inhabitants recorded in the 2011 Census, 11 percent of the town's population speak Welsh. There are considerable differences between age groups, with 27.9 percent of 3 to 15 year olds speaking Welsh, 8.6 percent of 16 to 64 year olds, and the smallest percentage being amongst the over 65s at 5.3 percent. The opening of ironworks in the 1820s and 1830s induced the growth of the town. Between 1890 and 1925, Maesteg held a worldwide reputation as a manufacturer of Admiralty-grade steam coal, high quality cooking coal and the best house coal in South Wales. By the early 1920s, 7000 miners worked in the town. With the decline of the coal market and the closure of the last pit in 1985, the town is now characterised as being more residential and domestic in nature, predominately for the Port Talbot, Bridgend and Cardiff journey to work areas. Formed in 1881, Maesteg Market continues to be a well-attended market, which is situated on the ground floor of Maesteg Town Hall and a broad variety of goods are available. The town is also identified for its strong music and singing tradition, being home to a range of choirs and bands. For all your home upgrades, make certain to make use of trustworthy professionals in Maesteg to make certain of quality.

If your TV picture is pixelated, poor quality, or cutting out, there may be a fault with your aerial or the cables connecting it to your TV. Also your aerial may not be located in the correct place. An experienced aerial company can carry out a survey to discover the fault.
Your TV and aerial need to be connected by coaxial cable for your TV to work. Most properties have wall mounted connection boxes – similar to electrical plugs – that you can simply plug your TV into. If you don’t have a cable, it’s easy to pick up one from most DIY shops.
If you’re installing a new outside aerial, you may be able to reuse the old cable. If you can’t, you’ll need to route a new one down from your aerial to any sockets you need. Coaxial cable can be routed down the exterior of your property, through loft spaces, under floors and along skirting boards.
Not if your current aerial is in good condition and receives a good signal. If you don’t currently get a good signal, you may need to upgrade or relocate your aerial to receive HD channels or if your TV is not HD ready. You may need to upgrade your television if this is the case.
No, you will need a satellite dish to receive a satellite signal for services like Sky or Freesat, as these are specific channels and programmes only broadcast via this medium. These can be installed in a similar way to a standard TV aerial by a recognised engineer.
We can help you get more aerial installation work with our qualified job leads and boost your business.
