Abersychan is a town in Gwent, Wales. It is within the boundaries of the historic county of Monmouthshire and has a population of 7,064.

The town contains two schools: Abersychan Comprehensive School and Victoria Primary School. It also has a number of shops and other amenities including Abersychan Rugby Club.

Abersychan was an industrial town during the 19th and 20th centuries, specialising in iron. The British Iron Company erected the largest ironworks in 1825, and the New British Iron Company acquired them in 1843. The Ebow Vale Company bought them in 1852, before closing them in 1889. In 1890, a blast in Llanerch Colliery killed 176 people.

In 1974, Abersychan became part of the borough of Torfaen. There is not a community council for the town despite it becoming a community in 1985. The Abersychan community consists of small villages such as Cwmavon, Pentwyn and Talywain.

  4. Fold over the grass onto the tape and bring each piece together, ensuring there’s a 2-3mm gap at the seam.
  5. Where the pile runs over the edge of the seam, fold over the artificial grass.
  6. Apply a small amount of adhesive under the edge of the first section of grass with a mastic gun, then add some to the front edge to stick the second piece.
  7. Bring the seam together, ensuring that you don’t get any grass blades stuck. Place a plank with some heavy objects on over the join to ensure that it dries securely.

Can you hoover artificial grass?
While you might see some people hoovering their artificial grass, it’s not recommended.
