Canterbury
Canterbury is amongst the most famous cities in the country, having a powerful link to the Christian belief and it is the Archbishop of Canterbury's property too. Other notorious names include Thomas Beckett and Christopher Marlowe. Canterbury had been predominantly targeted by German bombers throughout World War Two, so gives a selection of both pre and post-war houses, but the cobbled streets and small back alleys remain from centuries ago. Canterbury is the single city in Kent and possesses a very modest populace of around 60,000.
