Skelton Beck goes through the woody Valley Gardens in Saltburn, then alongside Saltburn Miniature Railway before being joined by Saltburn Gill going under the A174 road bridge and also getting in the North Sea throughout the sandy beach. The A174 road number is currently made use of for the Skelton/Brotton Bypass.
