Camborne
Camborne is a town and civil parish in west Cornwall. It forms the western edge of a conurbation composed of Camborne, Pool and Redruth. Several settlements comprise the civil parish, such as Beacon, Croft Mitchell, Higher Condurrow, Penponds, Roskear Croft, Treswithian Downs and Troon. The town was among the richest tin mining areas in the world during the 18th and 19th centuries, which substantially transformed the town and its landscape.
