Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a seaside community in Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England, around 12 miles (19 kilometres) south eastern of Hartlepool. It exists within the historic borders of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It has a population of around 6,000.
