Bingley
Bingley is a market town in the metropolitan borough of the City of Bradford found in West Yorkshire, England. The town lies on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and is situated in Airedale to the south of Ilkley Moor. The population has recently witnessed a decrease, having a population of around 19,884 in 2001 and reducing to around 18,000 as per the 2011 Census. The meaning of the town's name is often thought to be 'Bing's Clearing' and is Saxon in origin.
