Dingwall
Dingwall is a town as well as a royal burgh in the Highland council location of Scotland. It has a population of 5,491. It was an east-coast harbour that now lies inland. Dingwall Castle was when the most significant castle north of Stirling. On the town's present-day borders exists Tulloch Castle, parts of which might date back to the 12th-century structure. In 1411 the Battle of Dingwall is said to have actually taken place in between the Clan Mackay and the Clan Donald.
