Frizington
Frizington is a town in Cumbria, England. Historically, it was a collection of ranches and houses, but became a merged town as a result of the mining (both coal as well as iron ore) chances in the location. The town is recognized for its church, which was constructed in 1867-1868. Historically a part of Cumberland, Frizington is in the civil parish of Arlecdon as well as Frizington, which has a population of 3,678, the District of Copeland and the CA postcode location. On 2 June 2010, Frizington was the scene of the second murder in the murder spree referred to as the Cumbria shootings, when Derrick Bird shot his household solicitor, Kevin Commons. Stephen Holgate, a professional rugby organization gamer with a number of clubs, came from Frizington.
