Bedlington is a town found in South East Northumberland, England. Previously a mining town, it's approximately 20 miles to the north of Newcastle upon Tyne and 4.5 miles southeast of the county town of Morpeth, as well as being close to places including Ashington, Blyth and Cramlington. The town is most famous for giving its name to the Bedlington Terrier, a breed of dog. In accordance with the 2011 Census, the town has a population of around 18,470. Since the closure of the iron works and also the coal mines, it is chiefly a dormitory town for all those employed within the adjacent towns and cities. Bedlington Old Hall, a 15th-century structure which is usually described as the most historically significant building in Bedlington, was demolished in 1959 to make space for council offices. Even so, several sites of historic significance and regional interest remain . An important historic building still standing is the Anglican parish church of St. Cuthbert. It is claimed that this devotion has been taken from an event occurring in 1069. While escaping northwards from William the Conqueror's army, it is stated that the monks of Durham laid the body of St. Cuthbert inside the town's church. Hartford Hall is also situated inside the parish, plus a large amount of the riverside land between Bedlington and the Hall constitutes Bedlington County Park, which is a designated local nature reserve. Residents continue to shop at a weekly market in the town on Thursdays, which is held at the marketplace. For all of your home improvement work, be sure that you choose vetted professionals in Bedlington to ensure you get the best quality service.

LPG stands for liquid petroleum gas. It’s a by-product of refined crude oil. When it’s put under pressure, LPG turns into a liquid. It’s usually stored in this form. LPG is used as fuel for things like BBQs and camping stoves, as well as central heating.
Your LPG storage tank will need to go outside your property, possibly underground if you have limited space. There are planning rules that restrict where you can put your tank, especially if your property is listed or on designated land. Take a look at our planning permission article to find out more.
Your LPG storage tank should have a gauge that shows you how much fuel it has in it. Most LPG suppliers suggest that you arrange a fuel delivery when the level in your tank gets down to about 20%. Make regular checks, particularly in the winter when you will use more, so you know when levels are low.
If you choose to install an LPG boiler, you’ll need to find an LPG supplier. They’ll deliver fuel to you every time your storage tank runs low. You can even rent a storage tank from them if you don’t want to buy one. Make sure you know who your local suppliers are and where they are based.
