Cockermouth
Cockermouth is an ancient market town and civil parish in the District of Allerdale in Cumbria, England, so named because it goes to the convergence of the River Cocker as it streams into the River Derwent. Historically a part of Cumberland, Cockermouth is positioned outside the English Lake District on its northwest edge.
