Your LPG storage tank will need to go outside your property, possibly underground if you have limited space. There are planning rules that restrict where you can put your tank, especially if your property is listed or on designated land. Take a look at our planning permission article to find out more.
Heriot
Heriot is a small town in the Moorfoot Hills southeast of Edinburgh, Scotland, within Eildon (part of the Scottish Borders council location, though historically in Midlothian). The town comprises some 150 houses, spread over a geographical location of around 50 square miles (130 km2), a lot of which is moorland. Linked to the remainder of the world largely via the A7 road, Heriot had a railway station from 1849 till the branch line closures instigated by Beeching created the track to be uplifted in the 1960s. The Scottish Parliament elected, in 2006, to renew the railway, yet without a station at Heriot. The School (since Sept 2016) has 36 pupils. There are numerous area teams operating in the village including dramatization teams, WRI, an area choir and a karate club. Places near to Heriot consist of Borthwick, Carcant, Crichton, Fala, Stow of Wedale as well as Innerleithen.
