LPG stands for liquid petroleum gas. It’s a by-product of refined crude oil. When it’s put under pressure, LPG turns into a liquid. It’s usually stored in this form. LPG is used as fuel for things like BBQs and camping stoves, as well as central heating.
Torpoint
Torpoint is a civil church and also town on the Rame Peninsula in southeast Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is positioned opposite the city of Plymouth across the Hamoaze which is the tidal tidewater of the River Tamar. Torpoint had a population of 8,457 at the 2001 census, lowering to 8,364 at the 2011 census. Two electoral wards also exist (Torpoint East and West). Their consolidated populations at the same census were 7,717. In the Cornish language Torpoint is called Penntorr (regional folk band Pentorr have taken their name from this). Torpoint is linked to Plymouth (and Devonport) by the Torpoint Ferry. The 3 vessels that run the service are chain ferries-- that is, they are thrust throughout the river by drawing themselves on repaired chains which lie throughout the bed of the river. The journey takes around 7 mins.
