Lymm

Lymm is a large village and civil parish in Warrington, Cheshire in England. Lymm was an urban district of Cheshire from 1894 to 1974. The civil parish of Lymm features the hamlets of Booths Hill, Broomedge, Church Green, Deansgreen, Heatley, Heatley Heath, Little Heatley, Oughtrington, Reddish, Rushgreen and Statham. In accordance with the 2011 Census, the village has a permanent population of about 12350 people. Within this population, 49.1 per cent are male and 50.9 per cent are female. Lymm village centre is a designated sanctuary, notable for its historic buildings, both listed and unlisted. These feature the French-style terracotta former town hall, which is currently unlisted, St. Peter's Church, Oughtrington Hall and Lodge, previously owned by a cadet branch of the Leigh family and now Lymm High School, and Lymm Hall, a past Domville family home. Foxley Hall, the home of a cadet branch of the ancient Booth family, before ownership passed to the Carlisle family, is not standing, however fustian cutting cottages on Church Road and Arley Grove do survive. The Parish Church of St. Peter, Oughtrington is an example of Gothic Revival architecture. St. Mary's Church, Lymm, nearby Lymm Dam was in a state of disrepair by the middle of the 1800s so the Leigh family commissioned the noted Newcastle designer John Dobson to renovate it. The 1521 tower was kept and raised, but the demand for added stonework rendered the tower being renovated in 1887. Lymm Cross, typically identified simply as 'the Cross', is a Grade I listed structure. A 24-hour web cam looks out on the landmark. Extra web cams are tactically located around. For all of your home enhancements, be sure to find trusted professionals in Lymm to make certain of quality.

How much for a painter to paint a room?

How Much For A Painter To Paint A Room?

If you’re looking to have your room painted, it’s only normal to get an idea of how much it’s going to cost so you can set a budget and start planning. As you would have expected, the cost of having a room painted is dependent on a wide array of influencing factors such as the size of your room, the type of paint to be used, your location and many more. As a result, providing a single and accurate answer to this question is almost impossible.

Generally, a regular 4 metres by 3 metres room will take just a couple of days to be fully painted including both the coving and woodwork. Outside London, most painters and decorators would charge within the range of £150 to £200 per day meaning that you’ll have a total labour cost within the range of £300 to £400. What’s more? You’d also have to consider the price of the paint to be used which is usually around £50. If you add all the costs together you’ll get an average cost of about £400 to £500.

Unfortunately, paint does not last an eternity. Therefore, there’ll come a time where you’d have to consider painting your room all over again. It may seem unwise to employ the services of a professional painter and decorator especially if you’re on a budget. However, in truth, calling in a professional can go a long way to save you time, stress and money. In other words, even if you’re worried about the cost, a professional painter is still your best bet in the long run as they know exactly what to do to ensure you derive maximum benefits from your painting project.
