York
The British city of York contains a population of 200,000 and it's found in the county of North Yorkshire, towards the north of England. The city includes a rich history going back centuries and because of this architectural history was selected as Europe's Tourism City of the Year in 2007. Together with the medieval, Tudor and Stuart period homes there's even a range of modern housing areas, creating a varied spread around the city as well as its surrounding suburbs.
