Bishop Auckland
Bishop Auckland is known as a marketplace town in addition to civil parish in County Durham in north east England. Through the Industrial Revolution, the town evolved swiftly as coal mining took hold as a possible significant industry. The subsequent decrease of the coal mining business in the late twentieth century continues to be blamed for a drop in the town's fortunes in other sectors.
