Westcliff-on-sea
Westcliff-on-Sea is a suburb of Southend-on-Sea, a seaside resort as well as unitary authority in Essex in south-east England. It gets on the north shore of the reduced Thames Estuary, about 34 miles (55 km) east of London. The primary purchasing location in Westcliff-on-Sea is Hamlet Court Road, where the outlet store Havens, established in 1901, continued to be the anchor store up until its closure in 2017. Hamlet Court Road took its name from a manor house called the Hamlet Court, which stood on land currently inhabited by Pavarotti's dining establishment as well as adjoining shops, facing towards the sea with sweeping gardens to the rail line. The road later turned into a solid independent retail area and swiftly became famous outside the location as the Bond Street of Essex. There were several haberdashers as well as expert stores, as well as it was not also unusual to see chauffeurs waiting for their employers to emerge from the shops.
