York
The English city of York includes a population of 200,000 and it is in the county of North Yorkshire, towards the north of England. The city features a rich history going back hundreds of years and because of this particular architectural history was chosen as Europe's Tourism City of the Year in 2007. Together with the medieval, Tudor and Stuart period homes there's even a number of modern day housing areas, creating a varied spread across the city as well as its encompassing suburbs.
