Frizington
Frizington is a town in Cumbria, England. Historically, it was a collection of farms and homes, however came to be an unified town as a result of the mining (both coal and iron ore) opportunities in the location. The town is recognized for its church, which was integrated in 1867-1868. Historically a part of Cumberland, Frizington remains in the civil parish of Arlecdon and Frizington, which has a population of 3,678, the Borough of Copeland and the CA postcode area. On 2 June 2010, Frizington was the scene of the second murder in the murder spree known as the Cumbria capturings, when Derrick Bird fired his family members lawyer, Kevin Commons.
