Double glazing is made up of two layers of glass, with a layer of argon gas in between. This type of glass can be used in Aluminium windows. The gas is a poor insulator, helping heat to stay in your home and making your windows more efficient. As well as trapping the argon gas, the second layer of glass reduces the amount of noise that enters your property, and helps to make your windows stronger and more secure.
Wincanton
Wincanton is a small town as well as selecting ward in South Somerset, southwest England. The community exists off the A303 road, a primary route between London and South West England, as well as has some light industry. The town and selecting ward has a population of 5,272. In the late 1890s the West Surrey Central Dairy Company bought a neighborhood creamery. In 1908, after creating a dried milk baby powder, it altered its name to Cow & Gate. The creamery and milk products factory had its very own house sidings from the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway station, supplying access for milk trains. In order to deal with the transport problems across its rapidly increasing creamery, milk bottling and doorstep shipment network, Cow & Gate developed a dedicated logistics arm in 1920. Spun out in 2002 from follower firm Unigate, Wincanton PLC is the UK's 2nd biggest logistics business. The business still has a dairy products base in the community, although its head office function moved to Chippenham, Wiltshire in 2005. In 1999, Unigate offered its remaining milks to Dairy products Crest, which still has a creamery and also milk handling plant in the community, but has actually marketed celebrity company to Adams Foods Ltd., manufacturer of the Pilgrim's Choice brand of Cheddar cheese, in 2010 the second best selling brand name in the UK.
