Alnwick
Alnwick is a market community in Northumberland, England, of which it is the traditional county town. The population at the 2011 Census was 8,116. The town gets on the south bank of the River Aln, 32 miles (51 kilometres) south of Berwick-upon-Tweed as well as the Scottish boundary, 5 miles (8 km) inland from the North Sea at Alnmouth as well as 34 miles (55 km) north of Newcastle upon Tyne. The community days to concerning ad 600, and flourished as an agricultural centre. Alnwick Castle was the house of one of the most powerful middle ages northern baronial family, the Earls of Northumberland. It was a staging blog post on the Great North Road in between Edinburgh and London, and latterly has actually become a dorm town for neighboring Newcastle-upon-Tyne [citation needed] The community centre has transformed reasonably little, yet the town has seen some development, with several housing estates covering what had actually been pasture, as well as brand-new factory and trading estate growths along the roads to the south.
