The town is home to many historic landmarks. Chertsey's built-up area comprises the mediaeval tower and chancel roof of its Anglican church, a sizeable curfew bell, and listed buildings dating back to the eighteenth century, such as the local pedestrian bridge and Botleys Mansion. Surrounding the landmarks are a number of independent and commercial chain businesses, supplying a wide number of hotels, cafes, gift shops, public houses and restaurants, as well as a church and a museum. The museum hosts the Black Cherry Fair every year, which consists of live music performances and refreshments within the museum garden. Because of the significant amounts of open field and green spaces within the town, further entertainment is provided for residents by the sports and playing fields, the Thames Path National Trail, Chertsey Meads along with a round knoll generally known as St. Ann's Hill. A specifically appealing amusement for residents and visitors is Thorpe Park, a theme park connected to the town by a bus service and Chertsey station. For all of your home upgrades, be certain that you utilise trustworthy pros in Chertsey to ensure you get the most effective quality.
