Inverurie is a Royal Burgh and town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is situated at the convergence of the rivers Ury and Don, about 16 miles (26 kilometres) north west of Aberdeen. According to the 2001 Census, the town has a permanent population of about 10885. Inverurie's earliest known charter go back to 1558, with its modern development ensuing following the structure of the Aberdeenshire Canal. This linked Port Elphinstone with Aberdeen Harbour in 1806. The Inverurie Locomotive Works, operating in between 1905 and 1969, caused a modest rise in size and prosperity, however it was not till the 'Oil Boom' of the last quarter of the 20th century that the town became much of what is identified as its present form. The town centre is triangular and is dominated by the grand Town Hall, which was developed in 1862. In the middle of the 'square', as it is known locally, is the Inverurie and District War Memorial, capped by a lone Gordon Highlander watching out over the town. The primary shopping areas include the Market Place and West High Street, which branch off from the centre towards the more residential part of the town. In recent years, Inverurie has seen a growing number of Aberdeen commuters going to live there, making it known as 'the fastest growing town in Great Britain'. The town has a number of transport links contributing to its attraction as a place in which to commute from, being located on the A96 road and served by Inverurie train station on the Aberdeen to Inverness Line. The nearest airport is Aberdeen Airport at Dyce. For all your home refurbishments, be sure to identify respected specialists in Inverurie to make certain of quality.

Yes, an aerial could be installed in your garden or on outbuildings. This will depend on the strength of the signal in your area. A professional aerial installation company will be able to advise you on the possible locations for an aerial on your property.
Your TV and aerial need to be connected by coaxial cable for your TV to work. Most properties have wall mounted connection boxes – similar to electrical plugs – that you can simply plug your TV into. If you don’t have a cable, it’s easy to pick up one from most DIY shops.
If you’re installing a new outside aerial, you may be able to reuse the old cable. If you can’t, you’ll need to route a new one down from your aerial to any sockets you need. Coaxial cable can be routed down the exterior of your property, through loft spaces, under floors and along skirting boards.
We can help you get more aerial installation work with our qualified job leads and boost your business.
