West Linton

West Linton is a town as well as civil parish in southerly Scotland, on the A702. It was previously in the region of Peeblesshire, however since local government re-organisation in the mid-1990s it is now part of Scottish Borders. A lot of its homeowners are commuters, owing to the town's closeness to Edinburgh, which is 16 miles (26 kilometres) to the north east. West Linton has a long history, as well as holds an annual typical celebration called the Whipman Play. The town of Linton is of old beginning.
