Treharris
Treharris is a village as well as area (as well as electoral ward) in the Taff Bargoed Valley in the south of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, South Wales. It lies about 0.6 miles (1.0 km) west of Trelewis, where it is divided by the Taff Bargoed river, and 0.9 miles (1.4 km) from Nelson in Caerphilly county district as well as has a population of 6,252, raising to 6,356 at the 2011 Census. As a community, Treharris consists of the towns of Quakers Yard as well as Edwardsville. Because of pitch and narrowness of both the Taff and also Taff Bargoed valleys at Treharris a number of notable bridges and viaducts have actually been integrated in the area. Throughout the very early 21st century, like several ex-mining villages in the area, Treharris undertook substantial regrowth to the town/village centre. The majority of, otherwise every one of the land where Deep Navigation was situated has been designed and is now part of the new Parc Taff Bargoed, where much of the neighborhood football as well as rugby teams train as well as play.
