Biggleswade

Biggleswade is a market town and civil parish situated on the River Ivel in the English county of Bedfordshire. It is roughly forty miles north of Central London and twenty miles from Cambridge. This progress is expected to continue because of to new housing developments. Historically, Biggleswade was a vegetable growing area with a great deal of the produce being transported to markets in London, like Covent Garden. Although much of this trade has closed, Bedfordshire Growers, positioned on the town's outskirts, continue to supply the main United Kingdom supermarkets in the United Kingdom with potatoes and onions grown in Biggleswade. Biggleswade is also home to the headquarters for Jordan's cereals, a business that manufactures many varieties of muesli and granola.
